  • Part of the network of 15 community mental health centers providing services to the entire state
  • Formerly George W. Jackson, a state operated community mental health center
  • Became a non-profit organization in 1997
  • Moved into a new 45,000+ sq. ft. home location in Jonesboro in 1999
  • Opening of an outpatient clinic and 16 bed transitional unit in Corning to serve Clay County
  • Completion of new buildings to house the Blytheville and Pocahontas outpatient and day treatment programs

Reimbursement for Service

As a community based mental health center, Mid-South Health Systems offers a sliding fee scale based on income and number of dependents. We can also be paid for our services through Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
